“Free” is the operative word in the album title here, what with the music being loose, breaking out of its tight bounds, the playing being more free, like a bunch of friends sitting around without any plan, just expressing themselves. Hazel’s guitar is raunchy, a presence right there in the forefront the whole time, like a bare ass shaking in your face.
