Issam Hajali – Mouasalat ila jacad el ard: A lovely little Lebanese folk album focusing on the acoustic offerings of فرقة الأرض [Firqat al-Ard]’s leader. This album was recorded hastily and at low cost during Hajali’s year of political exile in France. The artist had to dub 75 cassette copies of the album himself, and so this 1977 recording didn’t get a proper release until 2019.
