Ethiopia, 1972, Ethio-jazz
This recording is all about laying down a funky groove that the musicians can just put on repeat, but one interesting enough it’s not going to get boring, so they can feel free to explore over the groove with some smooth, monged-out phrases. I can imagine how good this would sound while baked.
