USA, 1986, jangle pop / alternative rock

“Fall on Me” is the clear highlight, what with its rich, layered vocals, sung with Mills’ purposely emotionless vocals offsetting Stipe’s passion. “Underneath the Bunker” is a short but welcome left turn away from the jangle jangle of the pop, adding a bit more spice and swagger at the end of dinner. And supper wraps up with a tune that sounds like a 60s pop throwback.
