I love the heavy horns contrasting the light vocals of the first track, something a lot of people do in 2010s indie pop but done well here. Then I start hearing string phrasing reminding me of Owen Pallett’s stuff. Pelgag’s vocals are simultaneously delicate and bold. It must be the lush production.
