Maurice Louca – Elephantine: You can definitely hear the tinges of Arabia in that spicy guitar playing. This is deep, expressive saxophone jazz with a lot of rotating, circular musical phrasings giving the aching sax room to blow. The evocation in the guitar, the mystery in the strings, the storm in the wind chimes, and the seduction in the female vocals.
