Shub-Niggurath – Les morts vont vite: A strong, deep album with obvious themes of death and its connection to life. The frantic guitar feels like a bright, struggling fish swimming against ponderous currents mushrooming with putrescence. And just look at the album cover: a zombie knight-errant rescuing a fair damsel in distress, though I think perhaps her rescuing has distressed her more than any ogre or dragon could.
Be careful not to awaken the Ancient One, Shub-Niggurath, and don’t get caught by the Sheldon Gang!
