Belgium, 1971, jazz-rock / jazz fusion

PlaceboBall of Eyes: This album feels like a journey from one mountaintop to another. Start with the breathy, falsetto vocals and the distant, solitary flute that belongs more in a prog folk setting, descend the mountain into the earthy plain of groovy saxophones, and then begin the ascent with a short but wild piano piece, taking your footing from under you. No two mountaintops are the same.
