Van der Graaf Generator – Still Life: I’m always surprised by the vocals on this one, since Hammill decides not to sing as he does on earlier albums, instead experimenting with other vocal techniques such as simply talking or shouting. Nothing groundbreaking in that regard, but a clear departure from earlier work.
