Tom Waits – Blood Money: This album has one of my favorite Waits’ songs: “God’s Away on Business”. And if you’ve not seen the Cookie Monster fan video for this, do yourself a favor. I had no idea that Waits wrote musicals. This album, along with Alice and The Black Rider are plays! I would kill to see one of these dark cabarets live. I’d wear a cravat and a top hat to the affair. I’d put on eyeliner. One last thing: can anyone sing a lullaby like Tom Waits? He can tuck me in anytime he wants.

Tom Waits is always a good choice. But would any mood that brought you to Tom Waits somehow bring you to Skara Brae instead?
