Japan, 2001, zeuhl / brutal prog
高円寺百景 [Koenji Hyakkei] – Nivraym: Simultaneously silly and brutal, just what one expects from Koenjihyakkei. This album requires attention and immersion, as any zeuhl work demands. What’s weird about that song right there is that it is—at least for me—such a fun song to sing along to. “Catchy” isn’t a word I’d used to describe zeuhl, but this is catchy.
