USA, 2002, show tunes
Various Artists – Chicago: I’m a sucker for show tunes and don’t care who knows, and damn if these people who aren’t professional singers haven’t done an amazing job of convincing my ears that they’ve trained their whole lives for these roles! I enjoy the film as well as the soundtrack by itself, but most of that is probably because my kids have the whole Cell Block Tango down by heart, perfect dance moves and lip syncing.
