UK, 1969, blues rock / progressive rock

Jethro TullStand Up: You can really hear the tension between blues rock and folk rock on this album, and it’s wonderful. I’ve noticed that a lot of great art is borne of conflict—I mean, that’s an aphorism, but it’s certainly apropos in this case. Ian Anderson takes artistic control on this the band’s second album.
