Jethro Tull – Stand Up: You can really hear the tension between blues rock and folk rock on this album, and it’s wonderful. I’ve noticed that a lot of great art is borne of conflict—I mean, that’s an aphorism, but it’s certainly apropos in this case. Ian Anderson takes artistic control on this the band’s second album.
Somehow, I’ve never really gotten into Jethro Tull.
